Your profile:
  • Completed vocational training or a degree in computer science or a related field, or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in an IT environment, preferably with a focus on IT security
  • Solid knowledge in:
    • Firewall management (ideally Sophos)
    • Network architectures (Cisco, Ubiquiti)
    • Endpoint security, encryption, certificate management
    • IT security standards and processes
  • Basic knowledge of adjacent IT areas (servers, clients, infrastructure, backups, Microsoft environment, etc.) to ensure on-call availability
  • Experience with regulatory requirements (e.g. NIS2, ISO 27001, GxP, GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11) is an advantage
  • Independent, structured, and responsible way of working – a real doer type
  • Willingness to further develop skills proactively, complementing formal professional training
  • High level of reliability and strong team spirit
  • Very good German language skills, good English skills
  • Class B driving licence is required
Your responsibilities:
  • Establishing and operating an information security management system (ISMS)
  • Implementing and monitoring regulatory requirements (e.g. NIS2)
  • Managing and further developing the security and network infrastructure (Sophos, Cisco, Ubiquiti)
  • Securing and monitoring LAN, WAN, WLAN, firewall, and VPN structures
  • Conducting risk, vulnerability, and gap analyses
  • Planning and overseeing security tests
  • Creating and maintaining security policies, SOPs, and training materials
  • Raising awareness and training employees in the area of IT security
  • Supporting CSV/computer system validation and ensuring data integrity
  • Contributing to day-to-day IT operations (1st and 2nd level support)
  • Participating in the IT on-call rota

General conditions:
Fixed-term employment contract for 12 months with the prospect of a permanent position, part-time with 30 hours per week. Working hours are between 5:30/6:00 a.m. and 1:00 a.m. in a 3-shift system. Salary to be discussed. According to pay scale classification.
